Notes: This patient had a Rhinoplasty performed by a different surgeon when she was 19 years old. She presented to the surgeon with concerns about the shape of her nose and with difficulty breathing through her nose. On examination the patient was noted to have collapse of the internal nasal valve. She also had an inverted V deformity(seen in the frontal view pre-op photo). The surgeon corrected the problem by performing an open Rhinoplasty approach with placement of spreader grafts. The surgeon also improved the contour of her nasal dorsum and tip. The patient reports significant improvement in nasal breathing, and she is happy with the cosmetic improvement of her nose.
