Vitalize Peels
Vitalize peels are light chemical peels, similar to glycolic acid treatments. They are a combination of salicylic acid, lactic acid and resorcinol.They are effective on brown discoloration, blemishes, acne and sun damaged and weathered skin. These peels do not lighten the skin and are safe for darker skin types including Hispanic, African American and Asian skin types. You may return immediately to work after a Vitalize Peel.
Jessner's Peel
The Jessner's Peel is excellent for all skin types. It smooths and rejuvenates skin, producing beautiful results in treating mild to severe acne, discoloration, moderate wrinkling, and sun damage. Peeling the face, neck, and upper chest is also effective. The Jessner's Peel is comprised of Resorcinol, a derivative of Phenol, lactic acid and salicylic acid wash of which acts in a slightly different manner for significantly visible exfoliation and minimal complications. The deeper exfoliation produces noticeable flaking and exfoliation in the following three to four days after the peel, and within a week a smoother, healthier layer of skin will be revealed.
Obagi Blue Peel
Obagi Blue Peel is a breakthrough skin care procedure in skin rejuvenation. A solution of Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA), the Obagi Blue Peel is a custom skin rejuvenation technique that slowly peels away the damaged outer layers of skin, revealing the firmer, clearer, more youthful skin below. The Obagi Blue Peel allows Cathy to control the depth of the peel and the number of coats applied in order to tailor the process to your skin's specific needs. The Obagi Blue Peel can even be performed on the neck, chest, hands, back, arms and legs.
The Obagi Blue Peel is ideal for those who have skin problems including:
- Minor blemishes

Depending on your preferences and the nature of your skin problems, the Obagi Blue Peel may consist of anywhere from one to four skin care treatments. Our Medical Aesthetician, Cathy Wainwright will apply the Obagi Blue Peel solution to your skin. You may experience a mild burning sensation for up to three minutes following application, but any pain will be temporary and minimal. Your appointment will generally last around an hour A slight blue tinge may remain for 12 to 24 hours following the skin care procedure, but it will wash off completely.
Within two to three days of the procedure, the outer layers of your skin will begin to peel lightly, as the damaged outer layers slough off. Within a week to ten days, your skin should be completely healed and your healthy, radiant new complexion will be revealed.
